They went. They balled. They toured.

Last week, Derek and Skyler spent a few days touring a 265 unit, multifamily property called Velo Village in Franklin, WI – a submarket of Milwaukee, WI. The property was constructed in 2020, purchased in 2022 by Trilogy Real Estate Group and was put into a DST for accredited investors to consider as a potential option for their 1031 exchanges.

Before checking out the property on Friday morning, they were lucky enough to catch a Thursday night Bucks vs. Timberwolves basketball game. Though it didn’t go the way the home team wanted, it was still a great game and was fun to watch the “Greek Freak” do his thing.

The next morning, Derek and Skyler were stoked to walk the property with other advisors, talk to tenants and ask questions of the in-house property management folks. They went right across the street to “Ballpark Commons” where they had lunch, checked out the Luxe Golf Bays driving range, the YMCA, and Orthopedic Specialty surgery center, the Franklin Field baseball field and various retail stores around the development.
